Cari Quater joined the Chamber in September 2025, following the retirement of long-time President, Rick Stanley.

 

Cari was the Operations Manager at the Seacoast Village Project in Portsmouth, NH for three years, where she successfully recruited members, managed member services, and coordinated social and educational programs for seacoast seniors.

 

Prior to that position, Cari was the Executive Director of the Old Berwick Historical Society for six years. She comes to the organization with more than fifteen years of experience in non-profit leadership and management.

 

Cari is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and lives in nearby South Berwick with her husband and teenaged sons. When she is not reading, writing or gardening, she is road-tripping with her family to historic sites and museums, and trying out the best local food!
