The Sanford Subway located in The Center for Shopping in Sanford welcomed Chamber Ambassadors to their Grand Reopening held recently. Subway has remodeled its Sanford store to better meet the needs of customers and welcomes you to come in and see the upgrades for yourself.
Owner Bob Myott says, "We are very excited about phase one of our remodel being completed. We installed new flooring, a new ceiling, new light fixtures, new wall art, a new sandwich unit, and new wall coverings. Our goal was to really modernize the look of the store and brighten up the space. One of the key features of the redesign was adding the backlit "S" symbol that we call our choice mark logo to provide more brand identity in the location.
Phase 2 is coming soon in which we will be adding a few more updated decor items and bringing in some modern and comfortable seating, which includes a brand new high top bench with charging stations built in so our guests can charge their devices while enjoying a meal.
We are currently supporting the local YMCA in the fundraising event. This event started on December 7th and will end on the 13th. For every footlong sold we are donating $1 and for every 6 inch, wrap, or salad we are donating 50 cents. This fundraising event is being done at both the Sanford and Springvale locations. We will be presenting a check to the YMCA shortly after. It's something we now do annually and look forward to doing other similar events with non-profit organizations in the area."
