Jeff Lantos Author Reading and Wine Reception

We are pleased to be partnering with Sanford Goodall Library on Wednesday, August 4th to present author Jeff Lantos.

Jeff is an award-winning public school teacher in Los Angeles. A big believer in integrating core subjects with performing arts, he's written six historical musicals for his fifth graders to perform. One was produced on Broadway as part of the New York Festival of New American Musicals. He also wrote songs for the hit NBC television show Parenthood. Lantos studied history at Brown University and his op-ed essays about education have appeared in the Los Angeles Times.

He will be performing a reading and book signing for his book Why Longfellow Lied. We will begin the evening with a wine reception at 5 pm, with the reading beginning at 5:30 pm.
