Rick Stanley is a life-long resident of Springvale. He graduated from Sanford High School in 1974, attended Nasson College, and graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 1979. Before joining the Chamber as President in 1992, Rick was a real estate broker and developer with the Stanley Agency. He lives in Springvale with his family.

In addition to serving as Chamber President, Rick Stanley is liason for the Industrial Development Corporation for Sanford. He is a certified economic developer for the State of Maine and holds an inactive real estate brokers license. Rick is also the current President of the Maine Composite Technology Centers and President of the Southern Maine Economic Development District (SMEDD). He was appointed a Dedium Justice by former Maine State Governor, Angus King.
